The Organizations’ journey starts as way back as 2017 were university students of Kyambogo University had gone for a study trip to Bombo were they noticed that it was school time but many children were on the village moving around. On Inquiring from the LC1 chairperson they were informed that these lacked scholastic materials and school fees. This statement became a matter of concern to some of the students who later on met and agreed to support a number of children they could render a hand to. Every term beginning they collected donations of kind and cash from their circles, gathered them and went back to Bombo Kalule and donated these to children in a village school were most pupils attend for Education known as Buvuma Junior School which became a model school till now. And this helped to increase on a number of children attending school. This exercise kept on going over the past years till the then students now graduates of Bachelors of Community Development and Social Justice formulated documentation and registered a CBO known as SSENA HEALING AFRICA on 27th November, 2023.


SSENA HEALING AFRICA is a Community Based Organization, which works in harmony collaboration with other non-governmental organizations, governmental organizations or its agencies in areas of Education, Climate Protection, Health, community social work, economic development for the betterment of a clear headed, focused and visionary generation. SSENA HEALING AFRICA is a Community Based Organization registered with Masaka City and fully permitted to carry out its Activities. Registration Number. CD No. MC/NM/9549/2023
